Appalacian and Ozark Granny Magic – $10

Topics Covered: This is an exploration of the practice of Folk Magic in the Appalacian and Ozark mountain areas, starting with the migration of the Scotch-Irish people from Ulster, Ireland and moving forward into how Granny Magic presents today.
In some of the most challenging conditions in the United States, isolated clans developed their interpretations of magical practice brought with them from across the ocean. This class discusses the unique flavor of Folk Magic practice by the people in the hills of the Eastern portions of the United States.
Hoodoo & Conjure History & Development – $10

Topics Covered: This class explores the development of Hoodoo practice from the African Traditional Religions (ATR) as they migrated through Haiti and the United States.
Throughout this video, we study the impact of slavery and the syncretization of Christianity onto the base of the ATRs and follow it through the diaspora from the Southern United States into the Central and Northern parts of the country. Additionally, Hoodoo as it presents today also comes into conversation.
Brujería & Curanderismo

Topics Covered: Drawing from information in Crossroads of Conjure and The Sacred Art of Brujería, Katrina discusses the development and practice of two of the most sacred open practices in the world.
Tracing the roots of practice from the Mexica through the Spanish Invasion and the subsequent migration North into what is now California, Texas, and Arizona, this class discusses the premises of Brujería and how it differs from the more traditionally accepted Curanderismo.
Beliefs, history, and current practices are all included in this anthropological exploration. Please note that this is not the hands-on class that Katrina taught for several yaers but is instead a more academic study of the practice.
The Limpia: Cleansing the Mind, Body, & Spirit – $10

Topics Covered: This class describes the process of using the limpia to cleanse mind, body, and spirit including chakra alignment, entity and curse removal, and overall wellness.
Instruction is included on sweeping (the barrida), cleansing with smokes, and the egg cleanse. Information is also given on how to read the egg.
